Please allow an average of 2-4 hours for appointments and treatments.

If an appointment needs to be cancelled, please provide more than 24 hours advance notice. If the cancellation is less than 24 hours advance notice, it will be considered a missed appointment. If you are 30 minutes late to your appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment. If you miss three appointments in total, you will be ineligible to receive dental care services.

Yes, The Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic accepts referrals from other private practices. Referring providers can click here to access the referral portal.

No, you do not need insurance to be seen by a dental provider at the Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic. Our clinic offers reduced-cost care to the public.

Patients who have dental insurance should bring their insurance information with them to their appointment. Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic currently accepts a limited number of insurance plans. If we do not currently accept your insurance, as a courtesy, we will provide a copy of the dental claim form for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement once services are paid in full.
