Clinic Specifications
The Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic offers 40,000 square feet of work space that
will showcase 145 dental operatories and state-of- the-art equipment such as computer-aided
design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology to best provide for your
dental needs. The clinic will be fully equipped with the latest dental technology
to ensure that our dental students are fully prepared to deliver the most technologically
advanced care. Students will be closely supervised by a faculty member in the clinical
setting.
Research
TTUHSC El Paso is a research institution dedicated to finding answers to immediate
health related issues that affect our communities. Diabetes, cancer, heart disease
and stroke are just a few examples of chronic conditions in the El Paso region that
can be made worse by poor oral health. TTUHSC El Paso is using cutting-edge research
and innovative technology to gain more insight into developing cures and changing
patient’s lives.
